Howdy, fellow PC Users (Win 7 & 8): if you like and use sidebar gadgets, and wish to keep them working correctly, I advise you to not upgrade to I.E. 11. If you have already I.E. 11 and your sidebar gadgets look funny or some (i.e., the Clock) disappear, uninstall the I.E. 11 Windows Update in Control Panel's Programs and Features, View Windows Updates, and uninstall the I.E. 11 Update. (I think Firefox and Chrome are better browsers, anyway.) Oh, and have a nice day.
