The Eberflus Files
02/27/2017
On this day in 1945, a German V2 rocket hit the Royal Albert Dock in London, England. The V2 was declared operational just a few months earlier in September, 1944 and a steady stream of these awful bombs had been raining down on London from that moment. See the full impact of this massive destruction at our website, www.eberflusfiles.com, including stunning images of the rubble surrounding St. Paul's Catherdral. Equally breathtaking are the pictures of France and the French countryside. These prints are a perfect gift for anyone who cherishes fine art photography and European history!
When we were taking Reconnaisance photos we never suspected the existence of death camps like of Auschwitz, Birkenau, and Monowitz. While we were flying and taking photographs, we shot many of the death camps while not not being aware of their esistence. https://www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.php?ModuleId=10005189
