A fisherman in Alaska got the sweetest surprise when a sea otter paddled over to share her most treasured possession: her favorite rock. 🦦💛 Sea otters keep special rocks tucked in little pockets under their arms. They use them as tools to open food, and once they find a perfect one, they carry it everywhere. So when this otter handed hers over for a moment, it was a real sign of trust. She let him admire it while she spun around in the water, then politely collected it again before heading off. Of course, otters are protected, so people have to enjoy moments like this from a safe distance, but they’re still incredible to watch. They juggle their rocks for fun, hold hands while they sleep, and wrap themselves in kelp so they don’t drift away.
