Berean Blueprint

Just a little update from me…
I'm going to be spending less time posting here on Berean Blueprint for a while. This is my busy season of work and time with my family. And right now, I need to focus more on that and taking better care of my health. As much as I have enjoyed sharing here, it does take up a lot of my time. More than I had expected it would.
So, if you happen to get a friend request or a follow from Katie Katie, https://www.facebook.com/share/194Jw9ih72/?mibextid=wwXIfr ,... hiii! 👋 That's me!! 🤣🙃
So many of you have encouraged, and inspired me over the past few months, and I'd love to keep following along for fellowship and engaging from my main profile too, when I can. I’m finding myself on there more than here these days.
See y'all around! 🩷🫶

Our culture spends a lot of time focusing on outward appearance, popularity, accomplishments, and what other people think.
But God tells us to pay attention to something deeper, the condition of our hearts.
A gentle and quiet spirit isn't weakness!
It's strength that is rooted in God's peace.
It's kindness when it's easier to be harsh.
It's humility when pride wants attention.
It's choosing character over comparison.
As parents, one of the greatest gifts we can give our children is helping them understand that true beauty isn't found in the mirror, it's found in a heart that reflects Christ!
The unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

Yesterday I taught my boys and the girls I babysit over the summer how to play Gin Rummy, and it was so fun!
There was laughing, strategy, a little friendly competition, and more than a few, “how do you play the game again?” moments, as expected. 🤣
But these are the kinds of memories I hope they all carry with them! Just sitting around the table together, having fun, learning something new, and enjoying each other's company. 🩷

From hummingbirds and coral reefs to towering trees, rivers, mountains, and millions of living creatures, creation is filled with incredible variety!
The more we discover, the more we realize how much beauty, order, and complexity exist in the world around us. Yet as Christians, we also recognize that creation points beyond itself.
We may not be able to fully explain the mystery of the Trinity. God is infinitely greater than our finite minds can comprehend, that’s for sure.
We were made for relationship.
Made for community.
Made to love and be loved.
Made to reflect the God in whose image we bear.
And the incredible diversity we see in creation isn't random at all, it reflects the creativity and wisdom of its Creator.
The world is not merely a collection of things. It’s a testimony!
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made...

I love the simplicity of this verse.
God never intended for us all to be the same. He created each of us with different gifts, different strengths, and different ways to serve Him and bless others.
Instead of comparing ourselves to someone else's calling, we can be thankful for the grace God has given us and faithfully use the gifts He's placed in our own hands. 🩷
We all have different gifts, each of which came because of the grace God gave us.

One thing about Scripture is that it doesn't begin by trying to prove God's existence. It simply begins with, "In the beginning, God..." (Genesis 1:1).
Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself not as a distant force, but as the great "I AM", the eternal One who simply is.
The Bible is ultimately a love story between God and His people. And I love that!
The question isn't whether God exists. The bigger question is, how will we respond to His love? ✨

One of the most underrated spiritual disciplines is simply paying attention!
Paying attention to what we're allowing into our minds. Paying attention to what is shaping our beliefs. Paying attention to what we spend our time thinking about.
Most people don't wake up one day and suddenly abandon truth. It's usually a slow drift.
A neglected Bible.
A few unchecked assumptions.
A steady diet of opinions without examination.
That's why the Bereans were commended. They listened, but they also searched the Scriptures to see if what they were hearing was true!
Maybe today is a good day to ask, “what has been discipling me lately?”
