Being afraid of flying is bad enough, but a recent trip home turned into a nightmare. A delayed flight, a broken plane they were 'fixing,' and then the captain's absurd explanation about the engine leak... 'Technically, you only need one.' I've never felt less safe.

Just wanted that $1.50 hot dog at Costco, and ended up in a conversation with a sweet couple who've been members for 20 years. Their next topic? Buying coffins there together. My response? Asking if I'd need a membership to attend their funeral.
He offered her a snack and her reaction was priceless! She was so excited and surprised, it's the best response he's ever gotten. They're clearly happy together.
