Here’s one last video from . He’s playing his piece “Another Great Day to be Alive” off his album Places. Again, this guitar is my Model One, a small jumbo with a Manzer wedge, Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, and a Lutz Spruce top. You’ll be able to play it for yourself at the in Chicago, as well as the Woodstock Fingerstyle Guitar Festival, if it doesn’t go to a new home before! Grab some headphones and enjoy!
Who says archtops are only for jazz? Grab some headphones and have a listen to one of my favorite fingerstyle guitarists, Hiroya Tsukamoto, playing his composition “As if it Were Yesterday.” He is playing my fully hand-carved 17” Archtop fully acoustic in drop D.
