Honest post today. Nothing fun with music. Just being real.
Today is one of the days that I am sitting in those feelings trapped between overwhelm and exhaustion.
Maybe that’s why days off aren’t always my favorite. Days when I am organizing or working at the non-profit are filled with showing empathy, deep convos, lots of action, and lots of smiles and wins.
Then the quiet days come, and they are scarier than the schedules where I barely have time to eat. I get to spend time with my daughter and siblings today, yet the day feels heavy. And my TO DO list feels even heavier.
I do this job not because I am the queen of being organized. I do this job because I know what it feels like to sit in that place of overwhelm.
I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to walk WITH you.

One of the greatest blessings that I have been given with this job is that of community. My clients are creative, talented, empathetic, and helpful.
