We all deserve the facts when it comes to our s*xual health decisions.
Unfortunately, accurate and unbiased information is becoming harder to come by these days. As misinformation proliferates online and in the real world, it's important that health educators are equipped to pass crucial media literacy skills on to their students.
Join us next week as we explore lesson plans and tips to combat misinformation in s*x education.

Meet Dr. Adewole Adefalu, the newest member of the RHCN team!
As Senior Director of Programs & Initiatives, Dr. Adefalu brings over 20 years of experience advancing public health and reproductive care in the U.S. and abroad.
He tells us his passion for this work is driven by experiences witnessing women die from preventable pregnancy complications, unsafe procedures, and a lack of access to care. βThose experiences shaped my commitment to ensuring all people can make informed choices and access life-saving services,β Dr. Adefalu said.
Help us give a warm Nebraska welcome to Dr. Adefalu! We couldnβt be more thrilled to have him on board. π

It's clear that access to reproductive care in Nebraska is lacking. Nineteen rural counties are going without a provider who can prescribe contraception, and over 107,000 Nebraska women live in contraceptive deserts. We also lack any statewide comprehensive s*x education standards.
With our survey, we're digging into what access means, how it maps out across the state, and how we can better deliver care to those who need it. Tap the link above to contribute!
