Kangaroo Care Awareness Day was this past weekend (May 15th). It is a global event, celebrated since 2011 by communities to increase awareness, knowledge and safety to enhance the implementation and practice of Kangaroo Care (skin to skin contact).

IOA developed the Kangaroo Recliner in 1996, and designed it specifically to support Kangaroo Care.
