While in Vegas for the EV Charging Summit & Expo, we had to check out the Tesla Tunnel (officially, the Vegas Loop).

It's a surprisingly smooth ride in a Tesla through a tunnel under the city, designed to move people efficiently with zero tailpipe emissions. They've also wisely monetized the screens inside the cars with advertising (to the likely chagrin of the waiting drivers, who don't get the courtesy of being able to watch Netflix before they're eventually replaced by autonomous vehicles, as is the stated long term plan).

Now, we know Tesla’s branding is… complicated these days. But we’ve always believed in taking the politics out of saving the planet. If it reduces emissions and moves us forward, we're paying attention.
