The U.S. Air Force’s B-52 Radar Modernization Program (RMP) just hit a major snag, with initial operational capability now delayed until mid-2030.

The intended upgrade? Raytheon’s AN/APG-79 AESA radar, a solid performer in legacy platforms but now facing challenges that go far beyond specs:
