Stocking up for the Lake Mills Firefly Night Market! Several people requested wood species with a darker grain and I think these will fit the bill 👍

Only a few weeks till the Lake Mills Firefly Night Market hosted by The Vintage Flip!
Many people requested I offer darker wood grain options, and so I am experimenting with the new materials.
In the next update I'll show off some of the final product 👍

This is how the process starts! The wood needs to be steamed in order to be bent and rolled. Once it's in that shape, it can accommodate various sizes.

Sycamore is one of my favorite materials to work with. It shapes fairly easily and the grain is highlighted significantly by light.
Sometimes it can take a little bit to shape it just right, and other times the wood just really wants to be a ring 🤷
