During the candidate forum days before my election against George Oliver in 2024 (which I lost by 44 votes) I said that he had abandoned the residents of Ocoee District 4 when he resigned his seat early to run for Mayor. It was true then and it’s true now. He is now going to resign his seat early to run for Orange County Commissioner District 2. I hope the next time there is an election in Ocoee District 4 voters will remember this and select a candidate who is committed to the seat for the full term.

If you don’t know your districts you should educate yourself. We must return to strong civics education at every level of government. Our system of government was set up to serve the citizens, not for the citizens to serve government!
