Oceanside Independence Day Parade

The MainStreet Oceanside Oceanside Independence Parade is coming back to in just 2️⃣ days! The completely full 26th Annual Parade, presented byGenentechh, a Member of the Roche Group, will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 25. The parade can be viewed from the sidewalks along the entire route on Coast Highway from Wisconsin Avenue to Civic Center Drive. Along the way, led by Peter Phillips of Dragon Printing and Roseanne Kiss, Oceanside’s oldest Girl Scout of more than 50 years, the Oceanside Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts will be passing out more than 2,000 flags and parade programs to parade goers. The two-hour parade, broadcast byKOCT - North County's Channell, will also be streaming at KOCT.org and airing on Cox Channel 18 in Oceanside. The MainStreet Oceanside Independence Parade Committee made the difficult decision this morning to cancel the 2020 Oceanside Independence Day Parade. Many alternatives were discussed and we will continue our commitment to provide our community with this longtime tradition. What form it will take and when it might happen will be determined by the course of the pandemic. In the meantime, thanks for your support through the years.
