The right fixtures subtly define a bathroom.
Before you notice the tile or styling details, it’s often the finish of the fixtures that sets the tone of the space—warm and understated, crisp and modern, soft and classic, or bold and architectural.
Fixtures may seem like a relatively small element relative to a full renovation, but they influence how cohesive, polished, and timeless a bathroom ultimately feels.
A few things I always consider when selecting finishes:
• How the finish works with the overall palette and lighting
• Whether it feels consistent with the architecture of the home
• How it balances alongside cabinetry, hardware, and stone selections
• Will still feel right years from now
Design isn’t about chasing trends — though I don’t object to trendy choices if you love them! I’ll help you choose the accents and materials that endure and make sense FOR YOU!

Warmer months have a funny way of highlighting the little things winter let slide. With brighter light, longer days, and open windows, you want your home to shine too!
Here are a few easy seasonal resets worth tackling:
✨ 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀.
They quietly collect pollen, dust, and grime all season long. A quick rinse can instantly make the house feel brighter, cleaner, and a little more connected to the outdoors.
✨ 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Don’t announce “summer is here” with a season’s worth of dust launch into circulation.
✨ 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗩𝗔𝗖 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿.
Not glamorous, but one of the simplest ways to help with airflow, dust control, and overall comfort during warmer weather.
✨ 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘀.
This time of year, pollen, grass clippings, dirt, sand, and whatever else gets tracked in after a long day outside. A clean rug can make the whole entry feel refreshed.
Small everyday details that make a home feel lighter, cleaner, and worthy of summer joy. However, if things are still feeling a little flat, even after tidying and refreshing, let’s talk about your next redesign tweak, revamp or reno!
