Try these unusual ways to extinguish a candle!
Back in August, the Physics Girl team visited LIGO and I got to ask all my questions about gravitational waves and this amazing detector 🤩.
Mars is a complete death trap! I was curious about all the ways Mars might kill us, and how we know so much about a planet that’s 100 million miles away. So I hit up my friend, planetary geologist thespacegeologist to find out!
New video on the Leidenfrost effect! For this one, I was able to get some awesome slow motion footage of the Leidenfrost effect up close, and I might have dipped my hand in HOT OIL?

I’ve enjoyed sharing a lot of at-home experiments in a lot of my recent videos, but I do miss the fun times in the studio with my editor.
Okay, I'm still obsessed with the Leidenfrost effect. How cool is this shot?! The water droplet is moving over ridges of the hot plate, which sends ripples. This is obviously in slow motion - shoutout to Darren beyondslowmotion for filming these beautiful shots on his Phantom camera!
