Hey folks, we may be on a travel pause but look who's joined our little northern 'Bay Area' for a while! So fun to catch up - glad you are here, The Next Big Adventure!

Super fun to welcome our friends at The Next Big Adventure to Oregon's Bay Area and introduce them to local fellow traveler friends! Looking forward to swapping more stories and enjoying Coos cultural events in the coming months!

Learned yesterday that sweet, introverted, sit-just-behind-your-shoulder-on-the-couch Sola from our long-term Coos Bay housesit was gone. These five cats were pretty far along in life when we met them in 2016 so it's not surprising that 3/5 of the tribe we knew and loved are no longer around, but each loss still leaves an empty space. RIP lovely lady Sola.

Wrapping up east coast fun with hilarious animals, too much good food, and quality time with family and dear friends and their 9- and 6-year olds. (Hence the go-karts. Not pictured: Twister with the 9- and 6-year olds... It was a fierce battle, rest assured.)
