As Limb Kind Foundation’s mission in Kenya draws to a close, it's a moment of reflection and gratitude for the incredible journey we've embarked on together. Like with all life-enriching experiences, it's the people that truly make a place special. Our time in Kijabe has been transformative, not just in the work we've accomplished but in the bonds we've formed and the lives we've touched.

I'm deeply thankful to have reconnected with my friends in Kijabe, who have always shown unwavering support and warmth. Equally, the opportunity to make so many new friends has been a gift beyond measure. Each person I've met has left a lasting imprint on my heart, sharing insights and stories that have enriched my understanding and appreciation of this remarkable community.

Limb Kind's mission here may be ending, but the impact of our work and the connections we've made will continue to resonate. These friendships, new and old, are the true legacy of our time in Kenya. Thank you to everyone in Kijabe for making our mission memorable, for your hospitality, and for every moment of laughter, learning, and collaboration. I carry with me not just memories but a renewed sense of purpose and a commitment to keep building bridges wherever we go next.

I'm currently packing up, getting ready to say a bittersweet goodbye to the enchanting landscapes of Iceland. This place, with its quiet majesty and breathtaking views, has been a haven of peace for me. It’s been an absolute dream.

But, the adventure must go on, and what comes next is not just another chapter in my travels, but a mission close to my heart. I'm off to East Africa! While I'm buzzing with excitement for the vibrant culture, this journey holds a deeper purpose. I'm heading to Kenya to team up with the Limb Kind Foundation.

The Limb Kind Foundation is doing incredible work in providing prostheses to the children of Kenya, transforming lives one step at a time. Their profound impact on these children's lives is nothing short of inspiring, and I'm honored to have the chance to document their stories.

As I make this transition from the tranquil embrace of Iceland's nature to the heartwarming and spirited landscapes of East Africa, I'm reminded of the beauty in both the quiet moments and the vibrant connections of human kindness.
