So far so good..We've expanded his stall, have fans up and he has is fly armor on. Today we'll work on a new turn out area for him. And he been getting plenty of hand walks. Between our Itty Bitty fans and some donations that came in we where able to get his 2,547. Bill covered, we used are hay money. We are still accepting donation to help recover hay money. Look at previous posts for ways to donate. Know we wait for our biopsy results. We will continue to get give updates. Stevee-Update
First I'd like to wish everyone a Happy 4th. We are starting our day off right. We are on the way to pick up Stevee. He is doing good, as the vet says he is very spicy, yelling at everyone, jumping around, calling to the other horses, he is ready to go. We are being sent home with ointments, and antibiotics. We wait for a week for results. Tomorrow I will give and update on the fundraiser for him. I dont have the final bill yet. Thank you for those that have donated it will really help. It was a long day yesterday. Stevee did really good. Today he will be going in for surgery to geld him. This has been long over due, and will help in the long run, they will be closing that area up not leaving it exposed to flies. While under sedation they will clean that sore and inject steriod into it. They will also take a biopsy to rule out cancer. They dont want to cut into him until we know he does not have any cancer. Results back in a week. So far our bill is 2500$. He will come home tomorrow or Sunday. We will start our fundraiser for 2500$. Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center will take a credit card payment directly to our account. There # 916-652-7645.Just tell them it for Edith Garcia for Stevee.
