Mixing bronze and silver is far from normal but I’ll never complain getting dragged around by either of these powerful Great Lakes creatures.. even better when it’s on the same day.

There are so many amazing fish to reflect on last year and I can’t wait for what’s in store for us soon.

This beauty weighed 6.62 lbs and was the third biggest fish in my biggest bag last year.

I honestly didn’t think it was possible for a sub 18” fish to eclipse the 5 lb mark, but discovered that’s not always the case earlier this year…

I netted this one and started laughing pretty quick at how absurd her build was. She was taller than a 7 lb class fish, and way deeper too. But only ~17.75” long… and 5.4 lbs. She ended up being one of the smaller fish I caught that day, but I just find her proportions to be so incredible. A true 1% outlier.
