Engage Newark

Slow down, take time to ponder, to reflect, take stock of what 2024 meant for you. those everyday moments, maybe even those disruptions, those places of hurt, those places of joy. Look for where God has been at work in hindsight, to take it into a new year. How can we be attentive to the kingdom in our lives? It's at work all around us, we simply have to be aware of it. Sometimes we have to cultivate that awareness. So, I invite you as we look to a new year, pause. Be able to notice what God has been doing in the unexpected for you, and then respond in awe and action. Who can you share that with? Who needs that joy that comes through your story? The good news of Christmas is that God shows up, for everyone, no matter who you are! God shows up for you and when he does - it changes everything!
