Lots of starving people in Africa! Don’t waste food
1.
I used to think the mark on my face meant I had to hold on tighter than everyone else. Like I couldn’t afford to lose people, even when they weren’t right for me.
2.
So I stayed past the point of clarity. I held onto conversations that faded, connections that drained me, and people who had already let go.
3.
But holding on doesn’t create value — it just delays the truth. I was trying to keep what was never meant to stay.
4.
Then I realized letting go is not losing, it’s choosing better. Walking away is not failure, it’s alignment. My face never made me less deserving of the right connections.
5.
Now I release what isn’t mutual without hesitation. I don’t chase what’s already distant. I choose peace, clarity, and reciprocity. The mark on my face never meant I had to hold on — only that I once feared to let go.
Hmmmm
