I still remember the first time I walked into this foundry.
Honestly? I thought a foundry was just a place where you dropped off your sculpture and waited. I had no idea what was really happening inside.
What I discovered changed everything.
A foundry is not one place — it’s a world made of worlds. Every workshop is a universe of its own, full of possibilities I never imagined. Fire, metal, hands, patience. Each step a chance to push your sculpture further, deeper, into something you couldn’t have dreamed alone.
I was lucky. Incredibly lucky. A French gallery and an American bronze master opened that door for me — here, in Nanchang, China. And life, in its mysterious way, brought me exactly where I needed to be.
Now, every time I walk back into this foundry, I feel like a kid on the biggest playground in the world. 🔥
This place taught me that bronze is not a destination. It’s a journey. And I want to share that journey with you.

2013. Nanchang, China. My first major bronze production — and the turning point that brought my art to a whole new level. 🔥
That year, I had the privilege of working alongside Paul Cavanagh — an American master bronze caster — for my very first major bronze production. For over two months, I lived inside that foundry. Every day, every pour, every detail. 25 sculptures. One obsession: quality.
Working with a Chinese team for the first time, learning the rhythms of a massive industrial atelier, solving complex technical challenges that my work demanded — it pushed me further than I ever expected. Paul’s mission was clear: bring world-class quality standards to that foundry. And we fought hard for it, together.
That experience became the foundation of everything. The exhibitions that followed, the career that grew — it all traces back to those two months in Nanchang.
And the foundry? I still work with them today. Because in China, as in art, the most valuable thing you can build is trust — and that only comes with time. 🙏
Over 10 years of bronze. Just getting started.

I feel so grateful to take this special time far from the world to go deeper into the exploration of the essence of Māori culture.
Māori carving is so powerful. They tell the story of the tribes and ancestors. It’s a great inspiration and privilege to meet Māori artists.
I feel also a deep inspiration with the face tattoo « Ta Moko » which is unique to the individual, signifying their genealogy, status, and personal history.
This pause in my life allow me to take space from the noise of the world and think about my next step.
I’m starting 2026 with a new vision of my artistic journey.
