Located directly along San Francisco’s Great Highway, this circa-1940 San Francisco tract house was reimagined from the ground up for a family of three who spend their days surfing, traveling, and immersed in the outdoors.

Designed by Red Dot Studio, with Interiors by Saffron + Poe, the residence reflects a refined, resilient approach to coastal living, balancing sustainability with handmade detail and polish with a relaxed personality.

A reimagined modernist home, flaunts its low, linear volumes, designed to take in the expansive horizon. Set within Los Altos Hills, the house, which has been brought into the 21st century by , offers long views and the warmth and spaciousness of its midcentury peers; at the same time, it has been restored and refined to tackle its current owners' contemporary lifestyle.
