Things like this grieve my soul- deeply. The misinformation, misrepresentation and misinterpretation of some core Adventist beliefs is heartbreaking. I can’t help but ask, did we do this to ourselves? Have we as a people misinformed, misrepresented and misinterpreted the Word of God because we didn’t confidently and intelligently share the truth? Have we not study line upon line, percept upon precept, rightly divining the Word of God? Did our lack of knowledge and dependence on the Holy Spirit cause us to communicate the treasures of God, as passed on to the Adventist church with confusion and ignorance?

How did we pass down such erroneous understandings with the truth we’ve be entrusted with? How do so many people not have a clear understanding of why we know that the BIBLE references Jesus as Michael? How is it that people think the investigative judgment equates with uncertainty to our salvation? How is it that people think they currently HAVE the Mark of the beast and sabbath is about “worship” (aka going to church)?

I’m grieved. Deeply grieved. 😔
