He had a home for six years… and now, no one has chosen him.

Scooby has been waiting since February. Not a single application. Not one person asking, “Can I take him out?” And honestly? It’s breaking our hearts.

Yesterday, someone very special to us took Scooby out for a little break from shelter life. A ride to McDonald’s, some fresh air, some attention, and a whole lot of love—just a chance for him to feel normal again. When she had to bring him back to his kennel, she cried.

She cried because Scooby is a good boy. He’s the kind of Husky people say they’re looking for: he listens well, he’s loving, and he’s incredibly loyal. He just wants someone to belong to again.

But Scooby isn’t a tiny puppy. He isn’t flashy, and he doesn’t bounce off the walls begging for attention. He’s a grown Husky who sits quietly while the world passes him by. And somehow, nobody seems to see him.

After six years in a home, Scooby lost everything when his family lost theirs. Suddenly, the couch he slept on, the people he loved, and the life he knew were all gone. Now, he waits in a kennel every single day, hoping someone will finally stop for him. Can you imagine how confusing that must feel?

The saddest part is that Scooby still believes in people. Even after everything, he still leans in for affection. He still listens. He still hopes.

Like many Huskies, Scooby is smart, observant, and deeply connected to his people. He may need a little time to feel safe again, but once he trusts you, he’ll be yours completely. He’ll be your best friend, your shadow, and your "Scooby Dooby Doo."

Please… don’t scroll past him. He deserves so much more than growing old in a shelter kennel, wondering why nobody ever came for him.

Come meet Scooby. Give this beautiful Husky boy the second chance he has been waiting for since February. Let’s finally get him back where he belongs: in a home.

A man kicked a stray dog, but a group of nearby strays heard the shriek and instantly came to the rescue.

The man was walking down a street in Mexico City when he tripped near a stray dog and got startled when the dog barked. Instead of just walking away, he got angry. Witnesses said he tried kicking the dog once and missed, then tried again before finally landing a kick that made the dog shriek in pain.

That was his biggest mistake.

Moments later, other stray dogs in the area heard the cry and started running toward him. Within seconds, the man went from acting tough to sprinting down the street with a pack of dogs hot on his heels.

People nearby said he ran until he was completely exhausted, with some joking that he got the longest workout of his life for messing with the wrong stray.

The dog he kicked was later checked on and appeared to be okay. Online, however, people had very little sympathy for the man. Most said he was lucky the dogs only made him run, instead of mauling him like some felt he deserved.

"On these cold streets, people walk away…
but a loyal soul never leaves your side.
Even with an empty stomach,
those innocent eyes still wait—
for a little love, and a place to call home..."

This big floof from Santa Fe looked like he was either about to ask for a treat… or officially promote himself to co-driver.

The second the truck pulled up, he strolled over calm, cool, and professional, like he had important deliveries to supervise. Meanwhile, the driver already knew the deal: once the Great Pyrenees inspection team arrives, productivity drops to zero immediately.

Honestly, this looks less like a quick delivery stop and more like two coworkers taking a lunch break photo together.
