How one NYC music school created a multisensory Zoom course on The Nutcracker to students with vision loss - our teachers are doing an amazing job this year:

Studying ‘The Nutcracker,’ Students Listen, Touch, Move Like Snow Music students who are blind and visually impaired are offered a five-week course. “For me this class is about being dance,” its teacher says.

Check out this blast from the past sent to us by FFS grantee Dr. Robert Stamper. “The Fight for Sight Fellowship...showed me how rewarding and awesome ophthalmic research could be and laid the groundwork for my subsequent career in academic ophthalmology. Since then, I have had the opportunity for a most fulfilling career, and I am profoundly grateful to Fight for Sight for their role in getting me started.”
