Engineering Tomorrow
06/25/2026
Yesterday, our students didn't just study engineering — they met the people who use it every night on Broadway.
STEM On Stage campers spent the morning at a workshop with the stage crew behind Harry Potter & The Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre. Then they stayed for the show.
Flying scenes. Moving sets. Real-time sound and lighting. Every element is an engineering system; yesterday students got to ask the engineers behind it.

What happens when you apply engineering principles to a moving staircase? ⚡🧙🏽🏰
Students at School of the Holy Child are about to find out. This week, Engineering Tomorrow is hosting STEM On Stage — a Harry Potter-themed engineering camp where every build has a plot twist.
Astrodynamics. Electric Vehicles. Robotics. Medical Devices. All through the lens of the Wizarding World.
And Wednesday? A Broadway Workshop with the actual stage crew behind Harry Potter & The Cursed Child — followed by a 1PM matinee at the Lyric Theatre.
This is what engineering can look like when you let creativity fly.
5 million labs happened one classroom at a time. *The next one could be yours. 💡
Engineering Tomorrow brings free, hands-on labs to high school classrooms across the country — designed by professional engineers, ready to teach, and aligned to your curriculum. No prep required.
If you've been curious, now is a great time to take a look.
Our labs are now available year-round!

This school year, 41% of the teachers who brought Engineering Tomorrow into their classrooms were brand new to our programs.
That means hundreds of new schools had access to our engineer-led, hands-on labs for the first time. And the teachers who've experienced ET before are helping spread the word.
More teachers. More classrooms. More students with access to real engineering experiences. That's what growth looks like.
