Our final trailblazer of the week (sorry for the late post) is Freddie Mercury. Mercury inspired millions around the world to embrace everything about them and embodied the idea of “Love is Love.” From extravagant performances reminiscent of Shakespeare plays to unmatched lyrical subtext, Mercury showed the world that if you believe in yourself enough, you can do anything.

This Week’s Trailblazers
For our first week, we’re going to be celebrating 6 inspiring members of the LGBTQIA+ community who were, in many cases, some of the first to dream big and act big. Everyone featured this week broke down a significant professional barrier and marched along their own path. From activists like Sylvia Rivera & Marsha P Johnson to artists like Alvin Ailey & Freddie Mercury, our first 6 trailblazers were some of the first to say “I can”.
