During these challenging times, we try to stand strong in our actions and patience and make a difference with small changes every day. We envision a Sri Lanka with enough healthy and nutritious food for all and with small steps we try and make this change. There's something very special about Sri Lanka... it's pita day--full moon day. People come to temple, devotees make food so all can eat. Many are very poor and regular meals are rare. Yet, they share the food they have a handful or more from each person is collected and given and offered to the wild animals so they too can eat. Synergy of love and interference is a root part of the culture.
