In October 2025, 6-year-old Layla Crews was diagnosed with leukemia after experiencing health issues that led to extensive medical testing. Since then, Layla and her family have been facing an unimaginable battle filled with treatments, appointments, and uncertainty.

Layla is a vibrant young girl who loves art, gymnastics, spending time with friends, and watching her favorite shows. She is also the daughter of Sean Crews, a dedicated member of the Rockville Centre Fire Department who has spent more than two decades serving and protecting his community at all hours of the day and night.

Now, it’s our turn to stand beside a family that has spent years standing up for others.

This fundraiser will help support Layla’s ongoing medical care and treatment expenses while also bringing the community together at a benefit event in Rockville Centre.
