Greetings, friends and supporters of DAV Chapter 8's Wreaths Across America of New Britain (WAANB) program and fans of our WAANB page! We have an important announcement. You will notice that our page has changed significantly. Our page's name has changed from "DAV Chapter 8 Wreaths Across America of New Britain" to "DAV Hardware City Chapter 8." This is still the place to find all the latest news and updates about Wreaths Across America of New Britain (this year's event, December 19), but our page now will include ALL DAV Chapter 8 news and information in a single space - including WAANB news and all news about our sister major charitable event, the Golden Kielbasa Veterans Open (September 25, 2026). Our fellow page for Golden Kielbasa Veterans Open news and information remains active for now, but will be retired on May 1 - we will spend the next six weeks encouraging fans of THAT event and page to follow us here. This change is long overdue and will now make it easier than ever to follow all the events and activity of one of the state's most active and engaged DAV chapters, DAV Hardware City Chapter 8!
