First up - Classes & Events!
2025 saw expansion in our class & event offerings thanks to securing a physical location out of which to operate; additionally, consistent partnership with community spaces helped keep us rolling!
Our CLASSES are the bulk of where our on-bike education happens. Hosted EVENTS - whether primarily Bike Fun or in support of community partners - get the word out about what we do, about the bicycle community in Middle Tennessee, & how to advocate for better and safer riding conditions for all ages & abilities.
We
🟣 branched out into summer camp instruction for 2025 (our first time!)
🟣 worked with community groups to distribute refurbished bicycles during their events
🟣 provided bicycles to elementary schools doing their own learn to ride programming
🟣 continued opening our Bike Lab doors for hands-on help during Open Shop / Taller Abierto twice a month.
The all ages, all genres event we started in 2023 returned for its third year, renamed the Nashville Bicycle Festival. This was our first year offering sponsorships & overages after operating costs went to provide a free learn to ride camp for participants of the South Inglewood Community Center summer camp program.
Strategic goals impacted:
1. Expand educational programming
2. Strengthen community partnerships
3. Enhance accessibility & inclusion
5. Scale community impact
