Custom Crumb

Veyah's 4th Birthday was obviously a Barnyard Theme complete with the Red Barn and Silo and lots of her favorite animals. The base cake is 12"x18"x2" and the Barn is 4"x8"x5". Everything is edible made from fondant, sugar paste & modeling chocolate & royal icing. The Pig wallow is nutella and the pond is gelatin. Green Coconut adds grass accents and the shredded wheat around the chickens is missing in these photos but added before presentation.

Back from a week in the steam bath of Boston where we celebrated dear old Mom's 93rd birthday with a "lobstah" feed and of course CAKE by yours truely.
A 3 tier lemon chiffon filled with lemon cream and covered in silky pink buttercream and adorned with sugar paste summer daisies and brown-eyed susans that the kids really loved eating.

Greetings All...as many of you have noticed voting seemed to be halted a day or so earlier than expected....I don't know the reason, but by the last tally I saw we were some 230 votes ahead! If this holds true, which we won't know until tomorrow, than YAHOO, YIPPEEE....shhhhhh, I take that back, I don't want to jinx it......stay tuned......and cross thumbs.....
