And just like that, our first season as a program has come to a close.
What an incredible journey it has been. Basketball has a way of bringing people together, and weβre so thankful for the friendships, memories, and growth that took place over these past 3Β½ months.
Some weeks seemed to fly by, while others felt like a grind. There were exciting highs, challenging lows, and countless opportunities to learn both on and off the court.
Through it all, one truth keeps us grounded: Godβs love is never based on our performance. It doesnβt change after a win or a loss, a great game or a tough one. His love is constant, faithful, and unchanging.
For that, we have every reason to be thankful.
Thank you to every player, parent, coach, and sponsor who made this first season so special. Weβre just getting started.

Our 6th grade Rising Tide team closed their season this weekend with some tough fought battles in the NTBA SC State Championships, bringing the Rising Tide Spring Schedule to an end.
This team was so fun to watch this year, winning two tournaments and placing as runner up in another. I can't say enough about these girls, their families, and the JOY that fills every gym they enter.
We had games where we won big, games where we lost by more than we should have, overtime games, double overtime games, ... you name it. But most of all, we had FUN and we played together. We walk away as better players, better coaches, and better humans.
Last year it was this core group that started Rising Tide as a singular team. As we close out year one as a multi-team program, I can't help but look at this group with gratitude, respect, and a longing to get back in the gym and take that next step.
The Tide is Rising...and we're only getting started. ππ
