Uncle Otis Band

Before the rumor mill gets going, we want to clear something up.

Uncle Otis had no choice but to pull out of the Semi-Finals of the Battle of the Bands on March 14th due to a scheduling conflict with our singer. We respectfully asked if we could perform in the first time slot so he could fulfill a prior mandatory engagement afterward.

We were told there would be no exceptions and no changes to the drawing order.

Although the other competing bands were willing to accommodate the switch, the decision stood — so unfortunately, we had to withdraw.

We do find it interesting that while no flexibility could be offered in our situation, a previously eliminated band was allowed to join the Semi-Finals alongside the winning bands.

That said, we wish all the contestants the best of luck and appreciate everyone who has supported Uncle Otis throughout this competition.
