Genesis Church

Every family serves something. Your calendar, your priorities, your spending, your conversations, they all reveal what's really at the center of your home.
This past Sunday, we looked at Joshua's challenge to Israel and asked the same question of our own families: who gets first place?
Four dares for your house this summer:
-Remember what God has done.
-Choose Him intentionally.
-Remove what competes with Him.
-Trust Him for something bigger.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)
What's one thing your family needs to remove to make room for God this summer? 👇
Father's Day is just two Sundays away, dads. The golf course will still be there after church. 🏌️
Bring the whole family and invest in what matters most before the back nine.
See you this Sunday, and back again on June 21!
The culture of your home isn't created by accident. You build it with what you model every day.
When failure is met with forgiveness instead of shame, something changes. Not just in the moment, but in the atmosphere of your family.
What kind of culture are you building?

Raising your hands in worship isn't just a church thing, it's a God thing.
All throughout the Psalms, lifting hands was an act of surrender, reverence, and wholehearted praise. It was the people of God saying with their bodies what words alone couldn't express.
"Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands."
Psalm 63:3-4 ESV
When we lift our hands, it's not out of performance, but in response to a love that is better than life itself.
