When you find yourself anticipating a bad outcome, return to your own thoughts and feelings.
Take a breath, shake out the tension, and ask if what you’re thinking is working.
Sometimes we know what to do, but get held back by our own thoughts. The feeling that once motivated action isn’t there any more.
But you can choose a new thought.
You can remain brave, intelligent, determined, hopeful, dependable, resourceful, conscientious, confident, or witty.
What does the person you want to be think?
Finding a true thought that you find believable even in a challenging situation is itself easier said than done.
But keep on trying.
This is how you create the results you want even when it’s tough. Because it’s not just what you do, it’s who you are.
Freedom
We all want to feel the freedom, to explore, create, and expand.
What is the greatest threat to that freedom?
It’s blindness. It’s unwillingness to see facts, to allow awareness.
It's numbness. The fear of exposing yourself to reality, and instead choosing to settle for less.
The greatest threat to your freedom is to let your mind stay stuck in fear.
The truth is you are courageous. You are strong. You need to remember you can do this.
