Starting a business has changed my life!

Not only have we sustained a new income stream, I’ve also met so many incredible people along the way 🩵

Dianna (of & ) and her family attended my baby’s first birthday…. And it was the first time we have ever met in person!

We’ve known each other for four years, found out we were pregnant at the exact same time in early 2023, and have been so close ever since.

I could write a novel about all the ways my candle business has changed my life, but the candle community and customers are my favorite 🩵

Trips To Nowhere is the only scent in the Nostalgia Collection that is actually based on someone else’s memory instead of mine.

Kylie is one of my best friends; we met at the receptionist job I had prior to starting MBCC. Actually, she was the first one to ever purchase one of my candles back in 2019! (It was a pumpkin spice candle under my first brand name idea “sweet girl candles”, swipe to the second photo!)

Kylie loves traveling and she would always talk about how her and her mom go on “TTN’s” (Trips to nowhere). This is a phrase that her grandparents also used to describe adventures that weren’t super planned out; they just packed up and drove to random places to explore.

The scent is a beachy, clean linen fragrance with a heavy influence of California roots. 🩵

Have you ever taken a TTN before?

Chris and I used to travel a lot to different motorcycle tracks throughout 2021-2022, but I don’t think it would be considered a TTN unless you count the fact that most of these tracks are “in the middle of nowhere” 😄
