Prevent Child Abuse of Delaware County invites you and your family to our Community Safety Event on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Tuhey Pool (500 W. North St., Muncie).

This fun-filled event will feature:
☀️ Information and resources on water safety
🔒 Information and resources on gun safety
💦 Water balloon fight
🌭 Cookout
🎉 FREE entry for the first 150 children!

This event is open to the entire community and is a great opportunity to enjoy an evening of family fun while learning important safety information.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

As Prevent Child Abuse month comes to an end we want to thank everyone for participating and helping us raise awareness!

Remember, if you suspect a child is being harmed or neglected, you are required by law to report it.

Indiana law (IC 31-33-5-1) states that any individual who has reason to believe a child is a victim you must make a report. Failing to do so is a Class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.

You do not have to be certain. You do not have to investigate. You just have to make the call.
