Mount Pleasant Kids Hope Summer Program

Wanting to serve in the local Mount Pleasant Area? Our Kids Hope school year program seeks mentors to serve through McGuire and Pullen Elementary. Through a Kids Hope mentor, students meet once a week for one hour with a mentor- someone who is there just for them. This one-on-one attention of another caring and consistent adult in a student’s life makes a difference.

We are SO THANKFUL that this last week, we went to SpringHill camps to learn about GOD!!! We also had the opportunity to adventure in amazing activities and meet new friends. We had an unforgettable experience that we will have with us forever.

Last week ended our Kids Hope Summer Program. We had the best time this summer learning and growing together!!We are so thankful for the program and our local community support.

Please be praying as we have 10 of our students at SpringHill camps to have the best week ever!!!

So proud of these students and their hard work this week!!

This week our main focus was learning about how the decisions we make affect us.

We also Celebrated Christmas in July🎄, played minute-to-win it games, made blankets for the Mount Pleasant Humane Animal Treatment Society, and Finished with going bowling🎳

Another FANTASTIC week at Kids Hope Summer Camp!!☀️

- We celebrated a classroom birthday🥳

- Learned when we change our words that will change our minds

- Had a pizza party!!!🍕🍕

- Finished off with a field trip to Putt putt golfing and ice cream🍦

Week 3✅ A week full of learning about improving our self-esteem.

This week we looked at what fills our buckets, practice self care, and identify negative- self talk and replacing with positive affirmations.

To finish off the week we headed to HopeWell Ranch where we had an amazing time🫶

So thankful for another week full of learning what it is like to be an active listener, saying SMORE apologizes, having a birthday celebration and of course a fun water day to end the week. ☀️⛱️
