Before we use a dental tool, we like to introduce it in a kid-friendly way first 🦷✨

This technique is called “Tell-Show-Do” 💛
We explain the tool, let children see and feel it, and then gently use it during treatment.

Helping kids know what to expect can make a big difference in building comfort, confidence, and positive dental experiences over time.

Children should begin flossing as soon as their teeth start touching - usually around ages 2-3 (with the help of a parent, of course)!

Why does flossing matter?
🪥 Flossing helps remove food and plaque from places toothbrushes can’t reach
🦷 Daily flossing helps prevent cavities between the teeth
✨ Healthy habits early = healthier smiles later

A little floss really does go a long way for growing smiles!

Kids Teeth spread some sweetness in the community this week! 🍩✨ We picked up several dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts and delivered them to our amazing referring partners.

This batch was extra meaningful — every doughnut came from a fundraiser supporting the Class of 2027 Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association at . 💙

Proceeds from the fundraiser will help cover important expenses over the next year, including conference fees, pinning ceremony costs, instruments, and dues.

If you received a delivery, tag us and — we’re honored to support the future of dental hygiene while giving back to our community! 🙌

The Kids Teeth team had the BEST time celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Nash Orthodontics. 🎉 🌮

Tacos, margs, churros and lots of laughs - this party never disappoints. We’re so grateful for the amazing relationships we have with our referral community.

We’re already counting down to next year! 📅 Thank you so much!!
