Tips on delivering a memorable rodeo queen speech! At the Miss Sunbelt Rodeo Queen Pageant, only the contestants in the Princess (Ages 15 thrun18) and Queen (ages 19 thru 26) Divisions compete in the Speech Category!

This years' theme is: "Long Live Cowgirls - Celebrating the women who work tirelessly in agriculture and western industries!"

Speeches should be between 2 and 3 minutes long!

To nail your rodeo queen speech, start now and craft a heartfelt message you are truly passionate about and focus on your delivery. Don't just memorize words—understand your message. Maintain a clear voice, strong posture, and solid eye contact with the judges and audience!

PRACTICE your speech!!! Saying a speech silently doesn’t count!!! Practice in front of a mirror, your family, or a small group of trusted friends to get feedback and refine your delivery!

Engage your audience! Use expressive language, inflection in your voice, and natural hand gestures. Avoid standing completely still.

When giving your speech, remember to slow down, enunciate, and use pauses to show confidence and let your message sink in. Best of luck to all of our 2026 contestants!
