We’re officially closed & I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their 55 years of support. We’ve had our ups & downs over those years, but our dedicated customers have always stood by us. It was so nice to see all of you over these last 6 weeks. Hearing the stories. Sharing the memories. It was really special.

We had upwards of 8 locations at one point (this was before I was born, so I don’t even know the exact number). And a countless number of employees who still reached out to us to the very end. Incredibly sad. We made a lot of progress over the past year, but not enough to pay my mortgage & keep up with inflation. Working for free doesn’t pay the bills.

I want to thank a few people & I’m sure I’ll forget some. Brad, Elijah, Marcella & Chunk for helping me close things down. Marleen & Shannon for being patient landlords. Jay Thomas for having me on his program, which was an absolute blast. All our employees over the years, most notably Tyler who did so much for us during my years with the store. And my dad for teaching me how to be a businessman (RIP, dad). I can’t express how appreciative I am of you all.

Mother’s will likely be rebranding as an influencer or entertainment page due to our huge following. I’m also looking into taking the store on the road to festivals & fairs. But I need a moment to regroup & breathe.
