Way to go, MPS! At the July Board meeting, representatives from energy conservation company Cenergistic shared that from October 2024 to April 2026, MPS saved $987,560 since implementing Cenergistic's energy-saving systems.

Cenergistic awards ENERGY STAR Certification to sites with outstanding energy conservation qualities. MPS did this at 22 sites through efforts such as water conservation, weekly site audits, and door-sensor monitoring.

MPS Operations Director Billy Langford accepted an ENERGY STAR Award for MPS from Cenergistic Regional VP Dwayne Tampkins, Regional VP of Client Development Cari DuBose and Energy Specialists Martin Carrion-Charqueno and Troy Woodson. 🏆

Both are graduates of the Moore Old School. Lonnie shares what life what like during the Dust Bowl, having 10-cent Cokes and hamburgers for lunch, and serving during WWII. James shares about moving to Moore in 1947 and how he got his start as a volunteer firefighter and what life was like when the community had 500 people.
