💧 **Is Your Pet Drinking Enough Water?**
Hot weather means our pets need extra hydration, especially after walks, playtime, or outdoor adventures.
Help keep them healthy by:
💦 Providing fresh water at all times.
🥣 Bringing a portable water bowl when you're on the go.
🌳 Taking breaks in the shade.
☀️ Avoiding the hottest part of the day.
Signs of dehydration include:
🐾 Dry or sticky gums
🐾 Excessive panting
🐾 Lethargy
🐾 Sunken eyes
Fresh water is one of the simplest ways to keep your pet healthy all summer long! 🐶🐱

🎆 Fireworks are exciting for us... but frightening for many pets.
As celebrations begin tonight, here are a few simple ways to help keep your furry family members safe:
🏡 Keep pets indoors before the fireworks start.
🎶 Turn on a TV, fan, or calming music to help mask the noise.
🚪 Double-check doors, gates, and fences before guests arrive.
🏷️ Make sure your pet is wearing a current ID tag, and verify that your microchip information is up to date.
❤️ Stay calm—our pets often take their cues from us.
If your pet is anxious tonight, give them a little extra patience, reassurance, and love.
We hope you all have a safe, happy, and stress-free Fourth of July! 🇺🇸🐶🐱

☀️ Planning on taking your pup on a July 4th adventure?
Whether you're hiking, boating, camping, or just taking a neighborhood walk, don't forget that summer heat can be tough on our dogs!
🐾 Hot pavement can burn paws. Before heading out, try the 7-second test: Place the back of your hand on the pavement. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for your dog's paws.
🌞 Dogs can get sunburned, too! Light-colored dogs, dogs with thin coats, and those with pink noses or skin are especially at risk. Their noses, ears, and bellies are the most common places to burn.
💧 Plan walks for early morning or later in the evening, stick to grassy areas when possible, and always bring plenty of fresh water.
Need pet-safe sunscreen or other summer essentials? Stop by today—both stores will be closed tomorrow (July 4).
Have a fun, safe holiday weekend! ❤️🐾
