A wide variety of researchers are involved in biomimicry, but the relative failure of their admittedly ingenious efforts to mimic God’s creation serves to underscore the role of divine design in the production of natural structures. To use Paul’s words, “[T]he foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men” (1 Corinthians 1:25). From time to time, it is helpful to remind ourselves that researchers continue to admit the superiority of natural, biological “designs” over synthetics.

The Hebrew Scriptures, including Isaiah, were already translated into Greek a century or two before Jesus.
And the Dead Sea Scrolls’ great Isaiah Scroll — 24 feet long when unrolled — was written long before Christ.
