After we leveled the base I had stone put down to grade it out. This is where I screwed up. After I spent $2k to get the level and grade perfect, the construction company came and dug it all up for the support beams. Basically I could have just done a rough level on the base and laid the stone down after the building went up. Instead I had to spend a few hundred more dollars to redo the stone and grade. The silver lining is that I ended up with a super solid base thanks to the 42k + lbs. of stone I put down. They put the building up in 2 work days!
