🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from all of us at Bridges Hospice!

Today, we celebrate the freedoms that unite us and reflect on the sacrifices made by those who have served and continue to serve our country. Independence Day is a time to gather with family and friends, appreciate our communities, and remember the courage and dedication that have helped shape our nation.

As we enjoy this holiday, we extend our gratitude to our veterans, active-duty military members, and their families. Your service and sacrifice inspire us every day.

❤️ Your Choice. Our Privilege.

At Bridges Hospice, caring for veterans is more than a service, it’s a privilege.

Through our partnership with the Veterans Administration and the We Honor Veterans Program, we provide specialized end-of-life care that recognizes the unique experiences, sacrifices, and needs of those who served our country.

Every military story is different. That's why our team receives veteran-specific education and training to provide care with understanding, dignity, and respect.

To our veterans and their families: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your trust.

❤️ Your Choice. Our Privilege.

✨ EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT ✨
Today we’re shining a light on Kara F., Registered Nurse, one of the amazing humans behind the care at Bridges Hospice. 💛

Kara has been part of the Bridges Hospice team for the last five years, serving in several nursing roles and most recently as our Weekend Triage Nurse.

She is passionate about hospice care and grateful for the opportunity to use her knowledge and experience to help guide patients and families through life’s most vulnerable moments with compassion and support.

Outside of work, Kara enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two Sheepadoodles, who definitely keep life busy!

We are so grateful for Kara’s dedication, kindness, and commitment to the families we serve each day. Thank you, Kara, for all that you do. 💛

✨ HAPPY RETIREMENT to our Hospice Aide, Diane Morrison! ✨

Diane retired from her full-time position after four years with us. She will continue with Bridges Hospice in an as-needed, on-call role.

🎂 🎈Not only did she retire on Wednesday, today is her Birthday! A double celebration! Thank you, Diane for all of your compassionate care and hard work over the years!

Diane is looking forward to spending time with her grandchildren, sleeping in, vacationing and of course filling in at Bridges when she can. 🙂
