I’m Jackie Daily, the owner and lead designer of Brandsimple.

I started Brandsimple because I realized my fellow creative entrepreneurs were struggling. They knew their magic, and they knew how to serve, but they didn’t know how to leverage a brand to communicate their message, they didn’t know how to create a system that would circumvent burn-out, they didn’t know where to start and it was leading to feelings of hopelessness.

They deserved better.

They deserved to thrive within a brand system that supported their business, their message, and their sanity. They deserved to be seen and heard by the people who needed to work with them. They deserved to lead with less struggle and more impact.

I’d been working for years within my own brand and business, and helping my friends and clients build theirs. I’d worked with dozens of creative entrepreneurs, teaching them how to connect and create an experience, but I had been doing these things as a photographer. Helping my business friends build their brands because I was good at it, I loved it, and they pleaded for my assistance. Rolling from brand photographer into brand strategy and coaching because they needed it. Contracting with a nation-wide photography company as the Southeast regional director of photography - teaching dozens of photographers how to embody brand values and create a connective experience that sells for them. I had been building brands ‘on the side’ for years.

It took that long for me to realize that my magic had been lying in my ‘side work’, and that I had been hanging onto my self imposed label of ‘photographer’ simply because I had attached my identity to the label.

It was time to release the self-imposed label of ‘photographer’ and live full-out in my own zone of genius: Using my creative skills and background, along with my life-long obsession with human behavior and marketing, to develop functional brand systems that create ease, impact, and income.

What’s on the horizon…

They are searching for THE ONE.

They are ready to invest, but not with just anybody - they want to find THE ONE.

This is how you become the one stand-out, go-to voice for your community.

1. Have a concise understanding of your differentiators. The things that make you, you. That’s right YOU are the secret sauce here. Your unique perspectives, methods, strategies, and personality are what make you stand above the rest, and stand out specifically to exactly the people you’re meant to work with. So have a firm grasp on what those ‘differentiators’ are. You can’t be THE ONE, if you’re just like all the others….

2. Say what ya need to say. This touches back on your unique perspectives. I know sometimes you’re scared to share them because “well, no one else is saying this.” EXACTLY BABE. If it rings true for you and you feel strongly about it, it’s going to land and resonate with your peoples SO STAND UP AND SAY IT to stand out as a thought leader.

3. Get personal. The personal brand is now king. People want to connect with people - not products. Communities don’t rally around a service, they gather around a leader. So they want to trust like you, know, trust you. They want to work with a leader. Hone your brand voice and tone to humanize your brand system.

4. Answer their needs. Show your community that you know them, you’re passionate about them, and you’re an ally to them. Understand who they are, what they need, and what they need to feel, see, and hear. Where do those things connect with your brand and business. Leverage your brand system and marketing to amplify those connective points.

Don’t be like the rest of them, leverage your brand system to become the one voice that your community hears.
